About JTB Australia
JTB first established a representative office in Australia in 1962. Twenty-five years later, due to significant and continuing increases in the number of Japanese people visiting Australia, the office became a wholly owned subsidiary company.
JTB Australia has its Head Office, Marketing and Sales divisions in Sydney, plus State offices in the major gateways to/from Australia.
Today, JTB is the largest and most experienced travel agency serving visitors from Japan to Australia. It is constantly introducing new products and services to cater for wide range of market segments. The market has expanded from tour groups to a broad range of singles, young couples, families and older couples, including many repeat visitors.
JTB also makes travel arrangements for travelers ex Australia to its main destination of Japan, and is rapidly expanding its handling of travel arrangements to multiple Global destinations. JTBOI caters to a range of clientele from the individual traveler booking via either our retail or wholesale divisions, to group bookings of students, private groups, corporate incentive groups, and conferences and meetings with group sizes varying from 10-200+ people.
