About JTB Oceania

JTB Oceania is a leading company in the tourism industry, with a range of travel services provided through three companies:

JTB Oceania is part of the JTB Group (Japan) network that has been servicing the travel industry since 1912, and now has 150 companies and 900 offices around the world.

The first JTB representative office in the region was established in Sydney, Australia in 1962, primarily to service the Japanese market. As a result of significant increases in Japanese visitors to the region, the office was upgraded to a wholly owned group company in 1987.

Since then, the company has grown to manage business both to and from the region, servicing individual travellers, groups, and the education and conference market.

Today, JTB Oceania is a destination management specialist with 20 offices in Australia, New Zealand and Fiji, employing around 600 people.

The company’s vision is: “To be a great travel company, delivering unique experiences that bring people together”. JTB is committed to delivering a wide range of travel services to meet and exceed the ever-changing expectations of customers, and cultivating bilateral cultural exchanges.
