How to get there
The museum is located within the Mitaka Inokashira Park on Tokyo’s western fringe, near the trendy suburb of Kichijoji. From the Mitaka Station’s South Exit on the JR Chuo Line, walk along the Tamagawa Josui “Waterworks” for approximately 15 minutes to the museum. A community bus also operates from Mitaka Station to the museum (fare: one-way 200 yen/round trip 300 yen; half price for children under 12).
